The moose is the largest animal in the deer family.Moose are most found in areas like Canada, northern states in the United States, and also up into Alaska.A average adult moose needs to have about 10,000 calories a day too maintain its body weight. They are herbivores and eat just about any plant. Most of their energy comes from terrestrial vegetation and are mostly non-grasses.

They lack upper teeth so they have tough tongues, lips and gums. The moose diet depends mostly where they live and what region they are in,therefor it determines what food they have to choose from.Moose are extremely good swimmers and can be found wading around and swimming in likes and river too cool off and find food. There antlers make take just up to three to five months to go out and that makes them, which makes them like one of the fastest growing animal organs.

The adult moose is average about six to seven feet tall and weighs anywhere between 600 to 1500 pounds. They are the second largest land animal in North America and their life span is 15 to 25 years.Sincs they are large animals this means they dont have a lot of predators. Most of them are wolf packs and bears, sometimes big cats like mountian lions.Other than that, they are not bothered unless they try to cross roads.Moose are a type of animal that it would be cool to watch its its habit.
